Summit Stone Concrete Co. started in 2018 with one mixer, a used skid steer, and a belief that what goes under a slab matters more than what goes on top of it. What began as weekend driveway tear-outs around Boulder, CO grew into a licensed, insured crew pouring for homeowners, builders and property managers across the Front Range. We're still family-run, we still hand-write every scope, and we still put the warranty in writing before anyone signs anything.

Most residential driveways in Boulder land between $9 and $16 per square foot depending on tear-out, access, thickness and finish. A standard two-car replacement usually runs $6,500 to $11,000. We measure on site and give you one fixed written price — no per-yard surprises after we break ground.
Both are real options. Hairline and settlement cracks can often be routed, filled and sealed, and sunken slabs can be lifted back to grade. But when a slab is spalling, heaving or broken into pieces, patching is money thrown at a base problem. We tell you which one you have before you spend anything.
Every pour carries a written warranty covering our workmanship, including base settlement and joint failures. Concrete always develops minor surface cracking as it cures — that's physics, not a defect — but structural cracking, settlement or failed joints are on us, and the terms are on paper before you sign.
A driveway or patio is usually three to five working days: tear-out and haul-away, base prep and forming, the pour, then finishing and cleanup. Weather moves schedules — we don't pour into a freeze or a storm — and foundations run longer because of inspections.
You can walk on a new slab after about 24 to 48 hours. Wait seven days before parking a car on it and about 28 days before heavy trucks, RVs or trailers. Concrete keeps gaining strength for a month, and those first few days do most of the work.
Yes. We pull the permits, schedule the inspections, and meet the inspector on site. Boulder County and City of Boulder both have their own rules for right-of-way, driveway aprons and structural work, and we handle that paperwork as part of the job.
